Mel Gibson, atop a real horse with Viking horns and a cigar, gave a raucous speech in the Braveheart style for which he’s so famous, to introduce the movie Fight Club into the Guy Movie Hall of Fame!
Rain Wilson, of Juno fame, presented the Biggest Ass-Kicker award to Jason Statham!
The Hottest Mila award, a catfight between Mila Jovovich and Mila Kunis, was given to Mila Kunis!
Dan Fetterdy and the Dan Band graced the stage with a rather odd version of Bonnie Tyler’s classic “Total Eclipse of the Heart”!
Jonah Hill, of Superbad fame, presented the award for Funniest Mofo to Sacha Baron Cohen, star of Borat, who accepted the award in leopard-print underpants as his new character Bruno.
Rosario Dawson, who never needs any introduction, was on hand to preview Quentin Tarantino’s latest epic, Inglorious Bastards!
Asher Roth, singer of the wildly popular “I Love College”, presented the Hot N’ Fresh award to Malin Akerman of Watchmen!
Bobby J. Thompson, 6 feet of attitude in a 4 foot package from Role Models, presented the Outstanding Literary Achievement to Russell Brand for his “Booky-Wook”.
Christopher Mintz-Plasse presented the Man-tlers for the Man-Kind Award to Judd Apatow!
Jason Statham sashayed back out on the stage to present the Guy of the Year Award to Mickey Rourke — who kindly gave his Mantlers to the Soldiers of the U.S. Army!
Hayden Panetierre, that indestructible cheerleader, introduced Asher Roth as he performed his huge hit, “I Love College!”
The crowd went wild to see Robert Downey Jr. get on one knee to present the Guitar God award to Eddie Van Halen!
Pizza Hut sponsored a P’Zone Eating Chow-Llenge between famous eaters Kobayashi and Joey Chestnut, which Kobayashi won!
Witness the famous kiss that floored Jamie Foxx when he presented the Decade of Hotness award to Halle Berry!
Cameron Diaz via video presented the Man-tlers to the Screaming Eagles 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army!
The new Heavy Metal sensation Anvil presented the award to the Ballsiest Band, and the Man-tlers went to Metallica!
NFL Legend Michael Irvin presented the award for Top Fantasy-Leaguer, to Dwayne Wade!
And Ben Stiller, fresh from his latest success with Night at the Museum 2: Battle for the Smithsonian, presented the Brass Balls award to Clint Eastwood!

Winners were announced tonight during the biggest boy’s night out of the year, the third annual Spike TV
“Guys Choice” held at the Sony Studios in Los Angeles. The explosive show paying tribute the things guys love
most premieres on Spike TV Sunday, June 21 (10:00PM-Midnight, ET/PT). The show broke rules one and two about “Fight Club”, as the cult classic was inducted into the “Guy Movie Hall of Fame” with stars Brad Pitt and Edward Norton and director David Fincher on hand to accept the honor from Mel Gibson, who kicked off the show with a rousing speech reminiscent of his Academy Award winning movie Braveheart.
Also on hand was cinematic icon and original badass Clint Eastwood, who accepted the “Brass Balls Award” for his lifetime of legendary work as an actor and filmmaker.
Mickey Rourke was the recipient of the night’s top honor, as the Oscar nominated star of “The Wrestler” was voted “Guy of the Year” by Spike TV viewers, beating out President Barack Obama in the process. In addition, Eddie Van Halen made a rare public appearance, and was brought to tears as he accepted the first annual “Guitar God Award” for his years of shredding on the six stringed axe. And, seven years after being kissed by Adrien Brody at the Oscars, Halle Berry turned the tables on the boys, and had a very special moment with Jamie Foxx, who was on
hand to present her with the “Decade of Hotness Award.”
Spike TV’s “Guys Choice” also included a performance by hip hop impresario Asher Roth, and appearances by Robert Downey, Jr., Quentin Tarantino, Jason Statham, Dwyane Wade, Hayden Panettiere, Jack McBrayer, Triumph The Insult Comic Dog, Metallica, Jonah Hill, Sacha Baron Cohen, Malin Akerman, Michael Irvin, Mila Kunis, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Judd Apatow, Rainn Wilson and many more.
